The short version
We collect as little as possible, we don’t run ads or trackers, we never sell data, and we never publish what individuals searched for.
What we collect
- Search statistics — daily aggregate counts of searches and zero-result rates. Raw queries are not tied to you, and public statistics suppress small counts.
- Accounts — if you sign in with Google or Facebook we store your name, email, avatar URL, and provider ID. We never see your password and never post on your behalf.
- Requests — expression requests store what you typed, an optional context note, an optional email (used only to notify you about that request), and a truncated hash of your IP for rate limiting.
- Newsletter — your email, the exact consent text you agreed to, and timestamps. Double opt-in: we only send after you confirm, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
Only essential cookies: a session cookie when you sign in, and a short-lived state cookie during sign-in. No advertising or analytics cookies.
Infrastructure
Idiomer runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1). Cloudflare processes requests as our infrastructure provider; Turnstile protects forms from bots without tracking you across sites.
Your rights
Ask us to export or delete your account data, requests, or subscription at any time via the contact form. Deleting your account removes your sessions and personal fields.
